Has reopened after twenty years of restoration the Church of St. Antonin in Venice. The work concerned the plasters, sculptures, paintings, altars, furnishings and the bell tower.
During the long restoration, there have been finds of coins, ancient ceramics and even a sarcophagus of the first three hundred. These findings are placed in a specially equipped area of ??the church. The work has also hit the chapel of San Sebastian, the most famous and built in the late ’500, which were placed the original cycle of paintings of Jacopo Palma il Giovane.
Inside this church there are paintings and frescoes by famous painters such as Lazzaro Bastiani, Sebastiano Ricci, Alessandro Vittoria and Jacopo Palma il Giovane.
